BookNorway’s Best Available Rate guarantee

BookNorway has negotiated distribution partner agreements with all (accommodation, activities, car rental, international ferry and coastal cruise) suppliers available through our reservation service. Our partners specifically guarantee that BookNorway customers will always receive their best available rates when making reservations through BookNorway.

If – within 3 hours after you made your reservation with us – you find a lower published price for the exact same product, BookNorway will refund you 100% of the difference or cancel your reservation so you can rebook at the lower rate.

In other words, BookNorway guarantee you as a customer that when buying from us, you will receive the best available published rates offered by the specific supplier to the general public (at the time you made your reservation with BookNorway) through their own website and through other online travel agents.

The guarantee applies to rates for the exact same products/routes/room types/cabin types, for the same date(s)/times and length of stay, carrying the same change/cancellation terms and restrictions, sold as a standalone product within three hours after you made your reservation on BookNorway.

• All taxes and online fees shall be included in the rate comparison.
  • BookNorway rates always include all taxes and no service fees are added for online reservations. Any service fees already paid to BookNorway for manual reservation assistance shall be excluded from the comparison.
• The same restrictions and services apply to the lower rate you found elsewhere.
  • Check specifically whether refund conditions differ.
  • For hotel reservations – check whether breakfast is included in the lower rate and whether room types are identical.
• Comparison rates must be offered online to the general public.
  • The Best Available Rate Guarantee applies only to prices both advertised and available to the general public.
  • Not included are rates offered on membership/rewards/incentive programs websites, FIT rates, corporate discounts or rates, group/meeting/ convention rates, consolidator or interline prices, prices obtained via auction or similar process; or prices available only by using a coupon or other promotion not offered to the general public.
• The rate must be quoted in the same currency that your BookNorway reservation was quoted in.

How to claim the guarantee?

Call our Reservation Support Center at +46 (0) 8 120 018 49 or e-mail to reservations@booknorway.no within 3 hours after having made the reservation with BookNorway (Check opening hours).
Our staff will instantly be able to verify and accept your claim.

Outside of Reservation Support Center opening hours please forward an e-mail to reservations@booknorway.no with relevant information on the price you found, the source of the lower price, relevant screenshots (from check-out pages, etc.), URLs (hyperlinks) or other evidence for our staff to independently verify your request. Please also include your name, BookNorway confirmation number/reservation ID, your contact phone number and e-mail address.

When your request has been verified, you will receive a confirmation and the refund will then be credited to the credit card used for the booking.
