Another option is to book you and your vehicle on an 18 hour cruise from Kiel, Germany to Oslo. Their routes from Frederikshavn (on the North Coast of Jutland, Denmark) to Oslo, and between Germany and Denmark and the West Coast of Sweden (see map below) are excellent gateway options for your vacation in Norway and Scandinavia.
