Scandic Vulkan is a modern, urban hotel by the Akerselva river, a stone's throw from the cafés, pubs, parks and cultural institutions at Grünerløkka.
Many of the guest rooms have city views. With solar cells, geothermal energy and other environmentally friendly solutions, Scandic Vulkan was the first hotel Norway with an official "class A" energy rating.
On the ground floor is Scandic Vulkan's V restaurant and bar, a casual meeting place open for breakfast, lunch and dinner.
